Through the Africa Climate Justice Movement, Msingi Trust received support from Global Fund for Women. They led a project titled « Women, Girls and Faith Leaders for Climate Justice ». The project aims to create awareness around climate and ecological justice, undertake a climate justice champions program, hold training and dialogues around food security and sovereignty and ecological justice and create a connection between climate justice and theology. In 2025, they were able to host a one day seminar on Land Rights and Food Security and Sovereignty and a two – day training on the Role of the church in advancing climate justice, Theology of Environmental Conservation- Ecotheology, Understanding our Ecosystem, Spirituality and Conservation and the Importance of Environmental Awareness Among the Young People within the Church Setting. The seminar reached 500 people.
As a member of the Africa Climate Justice Movement (ACJM), Msingi Trust receives support from the Global Fund for Women to implement its activities to support women’s engagement to become dynamic actors in advancing climate justice in Africa.
